Raising quality beef starts with the animal. At Meadowland, we focus on Cattle and thrive in our Minnesota environment will producing productive, functional cows, and quality beef. We consider genetics, structure, temperament, maternal ability, growth and ultimately how those trades translate into beef we put on your table.

Minnesota isn’t always easy on cattle. Hot summers, cold winter’s, mud, snow, and everything in between mean cattle need to be hardy and adaptable. We select and manage cattle with those conditions in mind.

Genetics matter, we utilize composite genetics and heterosis to help build cattle that are productive, functional, and capable of performing in our environment. Our goal isn’t to raise the biggest animal. Our goal is to raise cattle that work.

Raising cattle with experience and technology generations of cattle knowledge provide the foundation.
